O presidente Jair Bolsonaro sancionou nesta quarta-feira (28) o projeto de lei que prorroga a suspensão da obrigatoriedade do cumprimento das metas quantitativas e qualitativas contratualizadas pelos prestadores de serviço de saúde no âmbito do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) até 31 de dezembro de 2021.

O projeto foi motivado pelas impactos da pandemia de covid-19 no sistema de saúde. As metas que os prestadores devem cumprir são usadas como parâmetro para o pagamento dos serviços, que são operados por organizações sociais (OS).

De acordo com a Subchefia para Assuntos Jurídicos da Presidência da República, a suspensão é necessária diante da anormalidade na prestação dos serviços de saúde.

“Diante do atual cenário, o direcionamento dos atendimentos das instituições de saúde passou a ser para contenção da doença [covid-19], de modo que as consultas médicas de diferentes especialidades, procedimentos eletivos, exames complementares e diversas outras ações de saúde tiveram que ser suspensas”, justificou o órgão.
