Na tarde deste sábado (23), uma perseguição policial acabou em atropelamento em Carapicuíba. De acordo com informações da PM, uma criança morreu e outras quatro pessoas ficaram feridas. Um suspeito foi detido e outro fugiu. O caso ocorreu em frente ao Plaza Shopping Carapicuíba, na Estrada Ernestina Vieira

A perseguição começou na cidade vizinha, em Osasco vindo ter seu fim em Carapicuíba. De acordo com a PM uma equipe da corporação abordou um veículo suspeito dando ordem de parada, que não foi obedecido ocorrendo a fuga.

Durante a fuga, os suspeitos atropelaram um grupo de pessoas em frente ao Shopping Carapicuíba. As equipes dos Bombeiros, do Samu e da Polícia Militar prestaram atendimento às vitimas.

O estado de saúde dos socorridos e os hospitais em que estão sendo encaminhados ainda não foram divulgados. As investigações estão em andamento no plantão policial do 1º DP de Carapicuíba.
