O governo municipal desenvolveu diversas atividades e programas que possuem como principal objetivo a limpeza da cidade e conscientização da população.

Entre as ações, a Prefeitura instalou seis Ecopontos em diferentes bairros, oferecendo aos munícipes locais para o descarte correto de entulho e madeiras. Com o funcionamento intensificado a partir do ano de 2017, nos últimos 4 anos os locais recolheram  88 mil toneladas de entulho e mais de 8 mil toneladas de madeira, que são encaminhados para a destinação correta.

Além dos Ecopontos, a Prefeitura também trabalha em operações diárias de limpeza urbana, cata-treco e campanhas de conscientização.

E para ajudar e colaborar na fiscalização do descarte irregular, a administração lançou o WhatsApp Denúncia. Agora, quem flagrar infratores jogando entulho em via pública, pode gravar ou tirar foto da placa do veículo e mandar junto com informações para 94126-4022.

A Lei nº 3519/18 proíbe o depósito de lixo ou entulho em calçadas, ruas, bocas de lobo, canteiros, jardins e praças públicas. Quem faz o descarte irregular pode ser multado. A penalidade varia de acordo com a quantidade de material despejado e pode chegar até R$ 9.000,00.

Ecopontos em Carapicuíba

As Regionais funcionam de segunda à sexta, das 8h às 17h e aos sábados, das 8h às 12h. O horário de recebimento de materiais durante a semana é das 8h30 às 16h30.
