Carapicuíba: Fiscais encontram animais no estado de decomposição em Pet Shop

A Polícia Militar Ambiental e ativistas da causa animal estiveram, neste último domingo (28), em um pet shop denunciado em Carapicuíba, de acordo com o portal de noticias Visão Oeste,

O dono do estabelecimento que fica no Jardim Maria Beatriz, é acusado de maus tratos aos animais que inclusive causaram mortes de animais. Além de atuar indevidamente como veterinário.

Na fiscalização deste domingo, foram encontrados na pet shop Cani Care dois cães mortos em estado de decomposição, além de animais presos, sem alimentação há dias, segundo o guarda municipal e ativista da causa animal Leandro Rodrigues. “Estou pasmo com o que encontramos”, declarou.

Além dos animais mortos encontrados, foram resgatados dois hamsters, um coelho, um porquinho da índia e um cachorro vivo, todos com indícios de maus-tratos. O dono do estabelecimento, foi multado em R$ 24 mil pela Polícia Militar Ambiental por crime de maus-tratos.

A ocorrência foi registrada no 1º DP de Carapicuíba.
