O presidente Jair Bolsonaro visitou na tarde desta sexta-feira (26) as obras do anel viário de Fortaleza e da duplicação de trecho da BR-222, que liga o município de Caucaia ao Porto de Pecém, na região metropolitana da capital cearense. Com investimento total de R$ 182,3 milhões, a obra contará com a implantação de novas pontes, substituição de pontes existentes, viaduto sobre a linha férrea e passarelas de pedestres. 

De acordo com o Ministério da Infraestrutura, a duplicação é aguardada, principalmente, pelos caminhoneiros, pois deve melhorar a conexão entre os Portos do Mucuripe e do Pecém, reduzindo acidentes e o tempo de viagem.

Mais cedo, em Tianguá, interior do estado, o presidente participou da cerimônia de assinatura das ordens de serviços para conclusão de três obras rodoviárias que estão paralisadas no Ceará. Os trabalhos serão conduzidos pelo Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes (Dnit).
